The Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website in accordance with the Act of April 4, 2019, on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities. Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility of a website, mobile application, or a specific element thereof. Building Access

The building has three entrances:

  1. Main entrance – ul. Estkowskiego 6, not adapted for persons with disabilities.
  2. Entrance B – ul. Szyperska, adapted for persons with mobility impairments.
  3. Atrium entrance – ul. Estkowskiego 6, adapted for persons with mobility impairments.

Access:

You can reach the headquarters yourself or by public transport. If you arrive by your own means of transport, it is recommended to enter via Szyperska Street, where there are two parking spaces for people with disabilities. The door to entrance B opens automatically, and there is a stair platform on the wall to the right of the entrance. Guests can also enter the underground parking lot located under the building, from where they can use the elevator. The elevator is equipped with barriers. If you use public transport, the closest bus stop is on Estkowskiego Street. In this case, please use the entrance through the Atrium. The entire building has access control, so the rule is that guests move around with the assistance of an employee from the moment they enter the building. Thanks to wide corridors, people in wheelchairs can move freely. The conference rooms are wheelchair accessible. Toilets for people with disabilities are located on the ground floor, to the left of entrance B, and on the third floor in part A.

Information and communication accessibility: 

There is no induction network in the building, there are no Braille signs or contrast markings for the blind and visually impaired. There is no sign language interpreter available.

Architectural accessibility of the building Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology, ul. Starołęcka 31, 60-963 Poznań:

At the Institute’s location at ul. Starołęcka, one of the employees can help take a disabled person to their destination (after making an appointment). There are two entrances to the administration building “B”:

main entrance – entrance/entrance from the street. Bystra 1 is not adapted to the needs of people with physical disabilities;

side entrance – on the right side of the main entrance – from ul. Bystra 1, is not adapted to the needs of people with physical disabilities.

Access:

You can get to the Center on your own or by public transport. If you use public transport, the closest tram stop is “Bystra” on Starołęcka Street. A detailed timetable is available on the Poznań public transport website: https://www.ztm.poznan.pl/pl/rozklad-jazdy/. If you arrive by your own means of transport, guests can use parking spaces on the premises of the Institute. There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities. The entrance/entrance to the Center is from the side of ul. Bystra 1. The porter’s office is located on the right side of the entrance. The reception desk is not adapted to the needs of people with mobility disabilities.

A path of concrete slabs leads from the Concierge at ul. Bystra 1 to the main administrative building “B”. The main entrances to the building are located on the high ground floor – they are not at the level of the pavement. Two-step stairs lead to the entrance. The stairs do not have a ramp for wheelchairs. The entire building has access control, which is why the rule is that guests move with the assistance of an employee from the moment they enter the building. Only the corridor and rooms on the ground floor are accessible to wheelchair users. There is no elevator in the building. The conference room is located on the first floor of the building and is adapted for wheelchair users. You can enter the building and its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog, excluding the Research Groups hall. The building does not have a sanitary room adapted for people with disabilities.

 

Accessibility of information and communication:

the building does not have any devices or other technical means to serve the hearing impaired – induction loop,

the building does not have a sound guidance system for the blind and visually impaired,

there are no Braille markings or contrasting markings for the blind and visually impaired,

it is not possible to use means to support communication between a deaf person and the Centre’s employees through a Polish sign language interpreter,

there is no information available in the building about the layout of the rooms, visually, tactilely or vocally.

Architectural accessibility of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology building, ul. Jana Pawła II 14, 61-139 Poznań (seat of the Sustainable Economy Centre):

The main entrance to the building is from ul. Jana Pawła II. The entrance is accessed via stairs. There is a wheelchair ramp by the stairs to the entrance.

Access:

You can get to the headquarters on your own or by public transport. When using public transport, the closest is the “Baraniaka” tram stop on ul. Jana Pawła II. There is 1 parking space designated for people with disabilities in front of the building. The reception desk is located on the left side of the entrance. The further passage is secured with gates through which a person in a wheelchair can pass. Only the corridor and rooms on the ground floor are accessible to people in wheelchairs. There is no lift in the building. The toilet for people with disabilities is located on the ground floor, in the corridor on the right. You can enter the building and its rooms with an assistance dog and a guide dog, excluding the production hall.

Accessibility of information and communication:

There are no induction loops in the building,

There are no Braille or contrasting or enlarged print markings for the blind and visually impaired in the building,

There is no audio guidance system for the blind and visually impaired in the building,

There is no possibility of using a Polish sign language interpreter on site.

Architectural accessibility of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology building, ul. Winiarska 1, 60-654 Poznań (seat of the Laboratory Research Centre and the Centre for Sustainable Economy):

Building A is accessed via the main entrance from Winiarska Street – via stairs without a ramp for people with disabilities and via internal stairs located by the office – also without a ramp. Entry to the Institute takes place after registering entry with the office staff. There is a telephone in the office with the most important telephone numbers to the individual organisational units of the Centres listed. There is a free car park in front of the building, without designated spaces for people with disabilities. People with disabilities moving in wheelchairs can enter the Institute from Widna Street, where there is an automatic entrance gate operated by office staff or security (intercom). Then, using the ramp accessible from the ground level, located at the back of building A, they can get inside the building. There is a lift in the corridor, allowing people with disabilities to access the upper floors of the building. The lift requires an authorised person to operate. The building is two-storey. There are no toilets for people with disabilities. There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities on the Institute’s premises. The area is monitored by office staff or security. You can enter the building with an assistance dog.

Access:

The Institute can be reached by public transport. The nearest tram stop is at Winiarska Street (“Uniwersytet Przyrodniczy” stop).

Accessibility of information and communication:

no devices or other technical means for serving the hearing impaired have been installed – induction loop,

there is no audio guidance system for the blind and visually impaired,

there are no Braille markings or contrasting markings for the blind and visually impaired,

it is not possible to serve using means supporting communication between a deaf person and the Institute’s employees through a Polish sign language interpreter,

there is no information on the layout of the rooms presented visually, tactilely or vocally.

Architectural accessibility of the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Poznań Institute of Technology building, ul. Warszawska 181, 61-055 Poznań (seat of the Modern Mobility Centre):

The entrance to the buildings is through the porter’s lodge, where guests are received by an employee of the Centre. The main building has two entrances that are not adapted to the needs of people with mobility disabilities (stairs). The entrance to building “C” is located on level zero, but there are no facilities for people with mobility disabilities.

Access:

You can get to the Centre’s headquarters on your own or by public transport. If you are arriving by your own means of transport, you have to turn from Warszawska Street onto Mogileńska Street. Guests can use the parking spaces on the premises of the Centre. There are no designated parking spaces for people with disabilities. When using public transport, the closest tram stop is “Mogileńska” on Mogileńska Street. The buildings do not have access control, so the rule is that guests move around with the assistance of an employee from the moment they enter the reception building. The toilets are not adapted for people with mobility disabilities.

Information and communication accessibility:

There is no induction network in the building, there are no Braille signs or contrasting signs for the blind and visually impaired. There is no sign language interpreter available. The Centre does not provide information about the layout of rooms in the building, either visually, tactile or audibly.
